Follow Friday!

Hey fellow readers! It's another posting of Follow Friday! Hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read. This week's question is...

Q: Birthday Wishes -- Blow out the candles and imagine what character could pop out of your cake...who is it and what book are they from?

A: Funnily enough, it is almost my birthday. (July!) Anyway, it'd totally have to be Christian Grey from 50 Shades. Just recently read the first book, and is such a swoon worthy character! Though he is a deeply disturbed character, I can't help but think that it is also part of his charm. Be sure to leave a link so I can read your answer! :)

  1. My birthday is in July, too! :)
I have seriously GOT to read 50 Shades and see what all the hype is about. Happy Friday!

  2. Not my kind of guy I'd want jumping out of a cake for me. I just can't get past the disturbed nature to find his character swoon-worthy, but at least you could. Happy almost birthday :D

  4. Oh, I have heard so much about this series and if all is true then I wouldn't mind him jumping out of my cake either.

  6. I'm still surprised that people like him. He's too creepy and not in a good way either (like Usui from Maid Sama or some of my other favourite male characters in other series), I just can't get past his disturbing controlling nature, I would never want to meet a guy like him, I'd just run like hell (I don't care that he's rich and good looking, his personality is just too messed up and creepy for me), which is one of the reasons why I'm not continuing with the series, the other reason is because I hate the protagonist, she's so annoying.
But at least you could find him swoon worthy.

Sorry if it sounded like I was being mean, I just had to get my opinion out there, since I never did a review on the book.

  8. Hello :) I'm a new GFC follower. Haven't read the 50 Shades books, and don't think I will. But I'd happily have Bones from the Night Huntress series jump out of my cake.

  9. New follower, am not sure I'd pick Christain there is just something about him I'm not overly fond of, though I do think it'd make for an interesting choice :)
